Etsy & The Nesting Tree

I've spent the first quarter of this year trying to get myself organized enough to start selling on Etsy. When I realized it was already May and I hadn't made much progress in this area, I decided to go ahead and post a few item....ready or not!

My best seller is the taggie blanket, which is not supposed to be sold on etsy anyway. I sell those mostly word of mouth and also at a local boutique called the Nesting Tree. If you are local to Sarasota/Bradenton, you should definitely check their adorable store out. There are many great local crafters showcased there.

Fall Basket for School Fund Raiser

I had a lot of fun creating the basket for my son's classroom at school for the Williams Fall Festival Silent Auction. My inspiration was these two items that I carry from Mint. (www.ohmint.com)

Then, I made some coordinating items to match.

Then I put them all together in a basket with some other baby items. And here is the finished product!

I hope it makes tons of money in the silent auction for my kids school!

These snack cubes are what turned me on to this company. I bought one for Lane and Amelia when I was visiting monogramming stores in Charlotte. They are too cute! I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to use them for since they are so small but it turns out their lunch fits in it perfectly. I have also heard they are great for 4 ounce bottles, Easter baskets, teacher gifts...the ideas are endless. Available in 20 patterns. $16 plus shipping. I will only monogram these on the lid. I tried Lane's on the front and it was nearly impossible.
